Here we have a rare flyer created for Lawrence Wayne "Wild Man" Fischer's performance at The Mandrake in Berkeley on August 24th, 1969. Fischer was a street performer in Los Angeles who was known for bizarre a capella performances. He struggled heavily with mental illness and homlessness, but later became known as the godfather of outsider music. He recorded a double album in 1968 titled An Evening with Wild Man Fischer, that was produced by Frank Zappa. Fischer's last name spelled incorrectly on this flyer.
