1973–Wake of the Flood Promo Poster-Grateful Dead-PAE Graded Near Mint 89

This promo poster for The Grateful Dead’s 1973 release” Wake of The Flood reproduces an amazing painting by Rick Griffin. As talented as Griffin was with pen and ink his skill and touch with a brush was equally skillful.  After his conversion to Christianity the artist devoted a great deal of his work to religious themes. The image of the Reaper came from Ricks visual interpretation of Scripture after reading Revelations.
