Here is an offering a rare original handbill designed by one of the less famous, but equally talented artists of the San Francisco scene, Greg Irons. Irons, who produced a significant body of concert art, was equally known for his stellar work as an underground comix creator. Before his early tragic death, Greg Irons produced some of the most interesting and comical posters of the genre. Additionally, later in his career, he spent his energy studying and creating amazing tattoo art. This handbill was produced for a pair of concerts featuring folk music heroes Dave Van Ronk and Mimi Farina, who was Joan Baez' sister. The shows were held one night at the Berkeley Community Theater and the other at the Masonic Auditorium in San Francisco.
