This RP-2 poster is beautifully signed and doodled by one of the artists, Stanley Mouse!

It is with great joy that we offer this opportunity to own a CGC authenticated and graded second-printing of one the most important and famous concert posters ever created.

The FD-26 is without question one of the Holy Grails in the entire Psychedelic Concert Poster genre. This issue is on everybody's top 3 lists of most desirable posters. This world famous piece of art was designed by the legendary 1960s concert poster artists Stanley Mouse and the late Alton Kelley.

The story of Mouse and Kelley searching the stacks at the San Francisco library for an appropriate illustration for the poster is well documented. The duo discovered this illustration by 19th century artist Edward Joseph Sullivan for an edition of the Rubaiyat of Omar Khayyam.

When taking our previous sales history into account, it would appear that this RP-2 is MORE uncommon than an OP-1! We have only listed 5 examples previously, with the most recent one having been auctioned in early 2018, more than 4 years ago. The poster is still more than 50 years old!

This example has received a 5.0 grade from CGC, but do not be fooled by the grade level. Though this poster exhibits tack holes in the corners and a fair amount of toning, it is not heavily damaged by any means. It was clearly well-loved by it's previous owner and is not torn or beaten up. The Mouse signature at the bottom is awe-inspiring! Don't miss out on this wonderful opportunity!
