1968 AOR-2.90 Jimi Hendrix Fillmore East Poster 3.5

When it comes to vintage, original FIRST PRINTING concert poster collecting, there is simply no bigger name than Jimi Hendrix! The spectacular art created by David Byrd for this poster is universally regarded as one of the most attractive designs of all time. In regards to rarity, it is a well known fact that Bill Graham produced far fewer posters for the Fillmore East than were produced for the Fillmore and Avalon Ballrooms. Instead, Graham chose to allot his print budget for playbill type programs that were suited for the theater style Fillmore East. It is very rare that we see original pre-concert printing examples of this piece surface in our auction, so don't pass this one up!
