This piece was created for a pair of shows featuring the duo of Cock Sparrer and Rancid, celebrating their 40th and 20th anniversaries respectively at the Warfield Theatre in San Francisco in March 2012. Cock Sparrer is an English punk band that formed in 1972, and though they never achieved mainstream success, they became influential to the Oi! subgenre of British punk rock. Rancid formed in Berkeley in 1992 and has remained one of the most popular modern punk bands. This poster has never appeared in our auction until now!
