Here we are offering a rare handbill featuring a very young Dolly Parton! It advertised a live edition of the Porter Wagoner show at Veterans Memorial Auditorium in Des Moines on December 31st, 1972. The Porter Wagoner show was a weekly syndicated television program featuring musical performances and comedy that ran from 1960 until 1981. Wagoner's involvement in Parton's career resulted to her being signed to RCA Victor, and greatly assisted in her rise to fame. This is an amazing piece that is unlikely to appear for auction anytime soon!
