Artist Bob Schnepf was a large contributor to several memorable images in the Family Dog series. The horizontal formatted FD-99 featured Country Joe and the great Blue Cheer one of the most under-rated unsung bands of the era. Their hard driving high volume distorted sound was a major influence for future heavy metal and hard rock groups.
