In the early 1970's Rolling Stone Magazine went deep into their archives and collected Original First Printings of the early issues of the magazine. The issues were then hardbound into one incredible volume. For collectors of vintage 1960's concert posters this lot holds extra special significance as Rolling Stone Magazine was launched in San Francisco in 1967 by Jann Wenner and music critic Ralph J. Gleason with the masthead of the magazine designed by the great Rick Griffin!

Thompson's legendary Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas, The Beach Boys A California Saga, Anthony Scaduto's two part Intimate Biography of Bob Dylan, Pete Townshend's memoirs of The Who, articles on Marvel Comics, Abbie Hoffman, Ike and Tina Turner, Janis Joplin and T.
