1974 AOR-4.115 Grateful Dead Santa Barbara Poster

Original poster featuring the Grateful Dead and Maria Muldaur! Folk singer Muldaur opened for the Dead in May of 1974 at Campus Stadium at the University of Calfornia, Santa Barbara. This poster was designed to promote the show. It is 100% original with no restoration and in excellent condition.

The Dead recorded LIVE FROM THE MARS HOTEL, the 2nd LP released on their own Round Records label, from March 30th through April 19th, 1974, then the album was released on June 27th 1974, just one month following this concert date. This entire concert was filmed in color and later meshed together with an audio recording, and is currently posted on youtube. Maria Muldaur's first solo album was released in 1973, and included her hit single Midnight at the Oasis, which ascended to #6 on the Billboard Hot 100 in 1974, while peaking at #21 on the UK singles chart. Naturally, she performed the hit tune at this concert, along with other material from her solo release.
