Presenting this RARE original Cheetah Club poster from May 10th, 1968! It was designed by Bob Masse, a noted Canadian poster artist who designed some of the most collectible and sought-after posters of all time. It was produced very early in his career. This is the first example of this treasure to ever surface in our auction, and we do not recall ever seeing another anywhere!

The concert featured Electric Flag, Touch, and Hour Glass, Duane & Gregg Allman's group before the Allman Brothers Band! The Electric Flag showcased Mike Bloomfield, one of the most talented guitar players who ever lived. Bloomfield was a force to be reckoned with. From the Butterfield Blues Band, to the short lived Electric Flag, to the hours of recording with Bob Dylan, to the incredible instrumental prowess he exhibited jamming with Al Kooper - Bloomfield achieved legendary musical status at a very young age.

The historic Cheetah Club was one of the hottest places to play if you were an up & coming band in the late sixties. Frank Zappa discovered Alice Cooper there in 1967 and signed him to his label. Janis Joplin and Pink Floyd also performed there. Original Pre-Concert First Printing material from the Cheetah is extremely difficult to locate, so this lot represents a special opportunity!
