1967 AOR-3.53 Gary Grimshaw Love In Elysian Park Poster

This ultra rare poster was designed by the legendary Detroit artist Gary Grimshaw. Aside from his ability to create brilliant psychedelic works of art, the artist was equally talented in layout and graphic design lettering to create some of the most powerful images of the era. This event held on Easter Sunday 1967 in Los Angeles is one of Grimshaw's first commissions outside of the Michigan area. It featured performances by groups like The Turtles and Iron Butterfly. Here's a title displayed in the Art of Rock book that seldom surfaces in public auctions.
