This is an original Bill Graham Program advertising a run of shows at the legendary Fillmore East in New York City, featuring Savoy Brown, Poco, Laura Nyro, Jackson Browne, and more on 12/22-24/70.

These shows occurred at a high point in Poco's career. The band's first album Pickin' Up The Pieces, one of the earliest examples of country rock, was acclaimed by music critic Bruce Eider as a "startlingly great record, as accomplished as any of Buffalo Springfield's releases and also reminiscent of the Beatles and the Byrds. The band had released their second album, a self-titled release, a few months prior to this run of shows. Additionally, this was a high point in Laura Nyro's career. She was a fantastic piano player & singer-songwriter who is very underrated!

The Fillmore East was Bill Graham's contribution to the New York City music scene in the late 1960s. The venue operated from March 1968 to June 1971. During that period, the Fillmore East hosted some of the most memorable shows of the era. Unlike the West Coast Fillmore, the East Coast counterpart did not use many posters to promote each show. Instead, the promoter produced these vintage "Playbill" style programs, featuring beautiful artwork, album advertisements, and bios/photos of the band's upcoming shows at the venue.
