We’re pleased to offer just the second MINT example that we have seen come to auction in the past 10 years. This poster is for two days of Canned Heat May 12-13 1967. The show was presented by Kaleidoscope but took place at Ciro’s on The Sunset Strip. Like all Kaleidoscope posters this one is round and highly sought after due to it’s unique design. This is just the third in the Kaleidoscope series and probably the second toughest in the series to find in this condition after the famous Doors Kaleidoscope.
This piece is DEAD MINT with perfect paper and super fresh ink. This poster would earn a 9.8 grade if submitted to CGC but unfortunately it is too large in size—18.5 inches in diameter-- for CGC to put in it’s holder at this time. We are told that CGC is developing a larger holder that will be available this year.
The only other MINT copy we have tracked at auction brought $1971 in May 2015. A rare opportunity to acquire a very rare poster!
