Guns n’ Roses were supporting Aerosmith on their “Permanent Vacation” tour at this 1988 run of concerts at the Pacific Amphitheater in Costa Mesa but the band didn’t remain an opening act for very long. This pre-concert first printing original cardboard poster was produced when Guns n’ Roses were blasting into the mainstream stardom with their debut album “Appetite for Destruction” on Geffen Records. Their single "Sweet Child o' Mine" and its accompanying music video received heavy airplay on both radio and MTV becoming a huge hit during the summer of 1988 and subsequently launching their career.
