This RARE poster advertised Lynyrd Skynyrd playing at Louisville Gardens in April 1977. This show was a stop on the Street Survivors Tour in support of the band's 5th studio album of the same name. The show occurred just six months before a tragic plane crash killed the band's lead singer, Ronnie Van Zant, guitarist Steve Gaines, and other members of Lynyrd Skynyrd's touring party. Street Survivors was released just three days before the crash and went on to go platinum. The band would then take a decade-long hiatus before reuniting in 1987 with Ronnie Van Zant's younger brother Johnny taking over on lead vocals. This vintage poster is 100% original with no restoration!
