1969 The Doors John Lennon Toronto Rock Revival Poster

Here we have a colorful 100% Original Concert Poster for the legendary Toronto Rock and Roll Revival held at Varsity Stadium University of Toronto on September 13th, 1969! The twelve-hour music festival featured an array of powerhouse performers including The Doors, John Lennon & the Plastic Ono Band (not listed on the poster), Little Richard, Bo Diddley, Chicago Junior Walker and the All-Stars, Alice Cooper, Chuck Berry, Jerry Lee Lewis, Gene Vincent and many more. Over 20,000 fans attended the event. The festival was also the subject of the classic D.A. Pennebaker film "Sweet Toronto".

The appearance of John Lennon Yoko Ono and The Plastic Ono Band was not publicly known in advance and ended up being a pleasant surprise for everyone to say the least!
