Presenting a magnificent, large-sized poster by the legendary Peter Max titled 2000 Light Years, produced and distributed in 1968. In the 2013 hardcover book The Universe of Peter Max, the artist describes many of the subjects and themes of his artwork. "My cosmic art subjects were always euphoric. Himalayan sages levitating under a shower of flowers beside snow capped mountain peaks. Faces and flowers exploding into a symmetrical cosmic butterfly. Mirrored lakes and mountains with a cascade of stars and planets. Flowers in perpetual states of organic growth, blossoms begetting blossoms. My inspiration came from the new youth movement in America, and in return, spoke to it." This poster is "G" in the series and SIGNED by the artist!
