This is a commemorative printing of this East Totem West issue, produced by Pomegranate Publications.
The White Rabbit is one of the most popular East Totem West posters of the series. During 1967 and 1968, founder Joseph McHugh and a handful of talented folks formed the short-lived East Totem West, an inventive poster and note card company in the SF bay area. The primary purpose of East Totem West was to create art, for art's sake. These were images containing bright colors and trippy spiritual mandalas, produced simply for the optical enjoyment of the viewer. The psychedelic movement of the era fueled the massive popularity of these beautiful headshop posters, and they still hold a place in the hearts of collectors today. This image is No. 1433 in the series.
