The headshops of the late 1960s caught onto the psychedelic poster craze full speed, with many poster presses opening throughout the West Coast and across the country very quickly. As such, youth bedrooms and basements all over America turned into makeshift hangouts where joints were rolled and colorful walls were gazed upon for hours on end.
