This collaboration between master poster artists Wes Wilson and Victor Moscoso advertised an event that utilized two separate and competing venues The Family Dog at the Great Highway and The Fillmore West.
ERIC KING notes the size of this poster as 14 1/64" x 20 7/32" - He also lists one of the venues as Family Dog at The Great Highway 660 Great Highway which must be the same location as the "Family Dog at The Beach" venue illustrated by Victor Moscoso at the bottom left edge.
A pair of events were held at the Fillmore West (featuring JA appearing with the Fourth Way Phoenix and Ace of Cups) and the Family Dog on the Great Highway (w/ Joan Baez It's a Beautiful Day and West) on July 7, 1969 - Originally the event was going to be held at San Francisco's Kezar Stadium later in the summer with an even longer list of performers - Vibrant psychelectric illuminated artwork by Victor Moscoso & Wes Wilson - This poster was printed in much smaller quantities than the earlier Family Dog posters in only one printing and utilized the "split fountain" color printing method with colors shifting from yellow-orange at the top to magenta at the bottom with background colors moving from dark blue at the top to green at the bottom text area - Small cartoon figures lurk the amidst the Victor Moscoso comix style lettering along the bottom edge of the poster.
