The FIRST DOUBLE SIGNED MINT FD-18 to appear at auction!  A Major “Sleeper”. Unlike the rest of the Avalon/ Family Dog posters this issue was produced on brown paper . Mouse and Kelley once again dig into the well of popular culture icons for inspiration. . This time they enlisted “Nipper” the famous terrier that was used as a logo for decades by the Gramophone Company and RCA/Victor company . This poster was produced in a ridiculously low print run of 1300 copies. We believe that less than 10% of those copies still exist in any condition and we track just TWO MINT EXAMPLES in the past 10 years. The example offered here is truly fabulous with fresh vibrant colors and immaculate paper. Just a tiny corner bump in the bottom left corner and the slightest wisp of handling in the upper left  that cat can only be seen by looking carefully at the back of the poster are the only flaws. An UNSIGNED copy brought $1079 on 5/10/12 and a copy signed by MOUSE brought $1894 on 2/14/13. This is a unique opportunity to acquire a MINT example signed by both Stanley Mouse and the late Alton Kelley. A true Museum Piece!

This poster has been signed by the artists Stanley Mouse and the late Alton Kelley
