We are pleased to offer to the collecting community what our tracking reports as the very FIRST and ONLY Mint Double Signed FD13 - and just the third MINT example- to appear at public auction! The FD 13 has always been considered one of the set stoppers in The Family Dog Series. In addition to having a very attractive and popular design this very early issue is historically important as it was the very first poster designed by Stanley Mouse for The Family Dog. Like almost all of the FD-13's this example was poorly produced with the black printing and red ticket info at the bottom being faint as well as some red ink scumming at the bottom edge. Nevertheless this is a totally original example with no nicks cuts tears pinholes or restoration of any kind. The pristine papaer has just a ¼ “ corner bump in both lower corners and a light wisp of barely detectable handling. We sold an UNSIGNED Mint 97 copy all the way back on 5/22/10 for $3355 and another MINT copy was sold again UN-SIGNED for $4620 on 2/12/15.This piece is sure to become the highlight of whatever collection in which it resides.
