Here we have an original CBGB poster advertising Philip D'Arrow performing on December 6th, 1978. Richard Lloyd, from the band Television, was listed in support. After Television first disbanded in 1978, Lloyd released a solo album on Elektra Records titled Alchemy.

The legendary venue's full name of CBGB & OMFUG stands for "Country, Bluegrass, Blues and Other Music for Uplifting Gormandizers". The theme, along with poetry readings, yielded to the movement into punk rock. The Ramones played their first shows at CBGB. Original Posters from this era of this legendary venue seldom surface and are highly collectible.
