1970 - Panther Hall - The Byrds - Mint “97”

This is another large sized fluorescent ink silkscreen from a small venue in Fort Worth Texas in early 1970. The show was put on by a small local promoter named Middle Earth productions. This print announced country rock pioneers The Byrds at Panther Hall and like the Dead show from a month earlier which is also featured in this sale it is huge and powerful and must be seen first hand to be truly appreciated. This poster sold at auction last month for $1300. This example is in flawless shape.
