The bright NR-5 poster is the 5th produced for Victor Moscoso's retinal burning Neon Rose series and was printed for a Sopwith Camel show at the Matrix in San Francisco. The band Sopwith Camel named by founding member Peter Kraemer formed in late 1965 and included Terry MacNeil William Truckaway Sievers Martin Beard and drummer Norman Mayell. The group performed regularly at the Matrix as well as the Marigold Ballroom and several other popular west coast venues. This could be one of their most celebrated posters of all.
