The FD-49 postcard features artwork by Victor Moscoso that pops off the page and into your brain. The image was based on "Jupiter and Thetis" a beautiful 1811 painting by French neoclassical artist Jean-Auguste-Dominique Ingres. The art is a great example of Moscoso's incredible talent as a designer and illustrator. This particular colorful issue is under appreciated and undervalued in collecting circles. Surprisingly often overlooked in the Family Dog series.
