1969 The Who Fillmore East Tommy Poster

This 1969 large sized Original Poster is often requested by collectors. Artist David Byrd created this poster to promote The Who performing their rock opera Tommy at Bill Graham's Fillmore East in New York. The week of shows took place only 5 months after the release of the album, and the Tommy fall tour lasted most of the season, including their performance at Woodstock in August. This caused their popularity in the United States to increase drastically. It would only be a few years later the group was playing concerts in large stadiums. A very cool poster produced on thin glossy stock for The Who's rock masterpiece at a legendary venue! This example here is in high quality condition and should not be overlooked.
