Here we have a commemorative R. Crumb print from 2007, which uses the artwork from a 1973 piece. Only 50 copies were printed and this one is SIGNED by Crumb! The Mendocino Grapevine was published from 1973 to 1986 in Mendocino County, California. In the early 70s, Crumb was commissioned to do several covers for the newspaper, this tree hugger design being one of the most popular.
