1968 FD-122 Iron Butterfly Avalon Poster 9.6

The FD-122 was produced for an Iron Butterfly show at the Avalon with The Velvet Underground in support. It's one of the most frequently requested posters from the Family Dog series. It is also interesting that the Velvet Underground was not the headliner. We imagine that, at the time, Iron Butterfly was considered more of a draw. This show was just a week before the release of the band's best selling album, In-A-Gadda-Da-Vida, which contained a 17-minute version of the title song.
