Presenting with CGC grading and authentication: A classic illustration for a Jefferson Airplane concert at the Shrine Exposition hall.

This 2nd printing poster was printed by personality posters a well-known distributor of headshop posters during the early seventies.

It is John Van Hamersveld's signature piece and was originally created for a February 1968 run of concerts that featured the Airplane with Blues Harp master Charlie Musselwhite in support. It's one of the most recognized images in concert poster art. This second printing poster offers the same popular and iconic art for far less than a First Print currently commands!

Van Hamersveld was a founding member of Pinnacle Productions and his work is a lasting remnant from a rare period in time. The Shrine/Pinnacle shows were LAs major contribution to the sixties live music scene and featured all of the top performers of the day all in big time Hollywood style at the 500+ seat Shrine.
