Donald Fagan and Walter Becker’s technically proficient jazz rock funk fusion band Steely Dan exemplify 70’s album Rock. They were not only notably fastidious studio musicians but they were known to put on incredibly dynamic live performances in the few years that they did tour before becoming primarily a studio band.
