The late great Alton Kelley designed this original poster for The Dinosaurs and their appearance on December 10th 1982 at the Old Waldorf in San Francisco. Dan Hicks was in support. This is the #3 issue in part of a numbered series of nine posters produced in 1982 and 1983 plus at least five other posters not numbered.

The Dinosaurs formed in 1982 and were a Bay Area Supergroup to emerge from the psychedelic music era of San Francisco. The core group consisted of Peter Albin of Big Brother and the Holding Company John Cipollina of Quicksilver Messenger Service Spencer Dryden of Jefferson Airplane Robert Hunter of the Grateful Dead Barry Melton of Country Joe and The Fish and Country Joe himself.
