This poster advertised the Climax Blues Band playing at Trenton State College on October 5, 1970. Originally known as The Climax Chicago Blues Band the group got their start in England in 1967 with frontman Colin Cooper. In the 1970s the band's live shows in the United States gained attendance of up to 20,000 people or more. Cooper was an extraordinary vocalist and blues harmonica player but he, unfortunately, passed away in 2008.
