Here’s another poster that was created for Soundproof productions when they took over the Avalon after the Family Dogs’ occupancy . This wonderful design by the late Bob Fried announced San Francisco native Santana as headliner. Within six months of this show Santana would be propelled into relative stardom after his stellar performance at the Woodstock Music and Arts Festival.This poster is featured in the “Art of Rock” plate # 2.31.
