We are excited to offer this issue ot Rolling Stone Magazine from September, 1968 featuring the art of Rick Griffin! The cover Griffin created features an underground comix style Mickey Mouse. Griffin was also responsible for creating the iconic magazine's first logo. The issue features an interview with Pete Townshend, a story about John Lennon, an ad for the Grateful Dead's Anthem of the Sun, and more! A 2 page article on the underground comix inside features another black and white illustration by RICK GRIFFIN, a R. CRUMB illustration with MR. NATURAL and some work by VICTOR MOSCOSO. A great little piece of history.
