1980 Ben E King Kurtis Blow Felt Forum Cardboard Poster

Here's a great, rare cardboard poster that advertised a festival at the Felt Forum at Madison Square Garden on May 24, 1980. The lineup included Ben E. King, Crown Heights Affair, rapper Kurtis Blow (whose name is misspelled), and more! Kurtis Blow was the first rapper to ever be signed to a major label, which had happened just the year before. Blow signed to Mercury in 1979 at the age of 20 and would release his first studio album a few months after this show. 100% original with no restoration.
