Prog Space Rock warriors Hawkwind headlined this concert at Kansas City's Memorial Hall in October 1974. The late great LEMMY was bassist for the group during this era and his addition propelled the band to much greater heights. He also sang lead vocals on their hit song "Silver Machine". A few years later Lemmy went on to form Motorhead.

The icing on the cake of this poster is the early appearance of RUSH opening the show. They were touring to support their first album! The legendary prog-metal power trio also opened for Hawkwind the next three nights of the tour in Nebraska Oklahoma and Wichita. At the time of this Kansas City show the late great NEIL PEART had only been playing with Rush for a little over 2 months. The drum & lyric master's first concert with Geddy and Alex was on August 14th in Pittsburgh. This amazing poster was printed on textured paper and is in High Quality Condition!
