We are pleased to be able to offer this incredibly scarce high condition Grateful Dead/ Hells Angels item in this sale.

This nearly pristine paper collectible was created to quickly get the word out about a wake for Chocolate George Hendricks. Chocolate George was a beloved figure in the Haight and a highly regarded Hells Angel.  He was killed in an accident on Haight Street on August 24th.

The longtime association between the Hell’s Angels and the Grateful Dead goes back to the band's earliest day.  The well-known Motorcycle club staged several events over the years that featured the Dead. The posters and handbills from these occurrences are some of the most desirable and valuable paper Grateful Dead advertisements ever created.

This completely original and high quality piece is a real gem; very few of these have surfaced over the years. It is printed on both sides. This is the finest copy that we have ever seen or heard about.  Now is your chance to own a copy that is in un–improvable condition.

This historic item is featured in "The Art of Rock" Plate # 2.251 and the copy in this sale is in much better condition.
