The Early Avalon Ballroom posters from 1966 are the finest and most valuable of the entire Family Dog series. The print runs were low and the art was fresh and innovative. This Original First Printing poster features two great bands from Texas: the groundbreaking psychedelic band 13th Floor Elevators and The Tex Mex / R& B innovators Sir Douglas Quintet. The FD-24 is an absolutely great example of the early and beautiful work of artists Mouse and Kelley.
