This second printing poster offers the same popular and iconic art for far less than a First Print currently commands! This was created by artist Gary Grimshaw for Janis Joplin & Big Brother at the Grande Ballroom in 1968. The dance hall scene in San Francisco was distinctly different from that in Detroit in the sixties, mostly in character and flavor, but both of these cities would be instrumental in the development of the psychedelic rock. When the bands from the west coast showed up in the motor city, there would be an instant kinship. When the Bay area Big Brother played at the Grande in 1968, they were as well received as they were at the Fillmore or Avalon. This poster is the greatest remaining artifact from that concert, and it's one of the most popular posters from the entire Grande series.
