The Woodstock Music and Arts Fair is easily the most famous musical/cultural event of the 1960's. The festival was originally intended to be held in Wallkill New York. Permits however were denied and the festival promoters had to find a new location just a month prior to the festival. The festival was then moved to Bethel NY. The rest is history. The event represented the peak of the 1960's music scene. In many ways it also signified the end of the era.

The original pre-concert first printing handbill being offered here was designed for the original site by Fillmore East poster artist David Byrd. It is much harder to track down than the other popular woodstock fest handbills and material. The fact that this piece is certified by CGC places it into a whole other dimension!
