It is safe to say, everyone LOVES this poster! After the Family Dog ended their tenure at the Avalon Ballroom, a production company named Sound Proof Productions began hosting shows at the venue. Soundproof enlisted the talents of artist Rick Griffin for this beautiful poster art. The partnership left three incredible pieces of Griffin artwork for collectors to acquire. The most noteworthy was the famous Aoxomoxoa poster, but there were two other wonderful Griffin sleepers, this being one of them. This poster was for a performance by the Youngbloods at the Avalon. The design borrows symbols that were repeatedly used in Griffin's creations. The Hopi Indian Mask and The Flying Eye both make an appearance in this very overlooked Griffin Poster.
