Here we are offering a poster for an event at Santa Clara’s Continental Ballroom. As well as hosting the more well known San Francisco bands the Continental Ballroom was also the South Bays venue for the lesser known garage bands of the day. This particular event that was billed as “The Revolution of Rock” and featured P.J Proby who worked with Elvis Tommy Sands George Jones . Also biulled were such one shot bands as Shadows of Knight and Young Giants . Where are they today ? Although history has pretty much forgotten them posters for those acts that have fallen into obscurity are some of the best values in this emerging fine collectible.
