The Plasmatics were a punk rock/metal band formed in New York City by Rod Swenson and Wendy O. Williams in late 1977. They were known for over-the-top stage performances which included sledge-hammering television sets and blowing up automobiles on stage. Lead singer/songwriter Wendy O. Williams committed suicide in 1998 and their concert material has become highly collectible ever since. This rare poster advertised the band's May 1981 appearance at Markthalle in Germany! An amazing find.
