Here we have an original poster from the Hollywood Sportatorium in Pembroke Pines Florida during early 1972 featuring Deep Purple along with the great Buddy Miles and Uriah Heep in support. Buddy Miles was absolutely a legend having played drums for Jimi Hendrix and The Electric Flag and going on to have a successful solo career. This era was the most commercially successful line-up of the Deep Purple featuring Ian Gillan on vocals Jon Lord on keyboards Roger Glover on bass Ian Paice on drums and the great Ritchie Blackmore on guitar! During this year supporting band Uriah Heep was just starting to achieve some mainstream success and would release their fourth studio album Demons and Wizards a few months following this performance. This poster features great artwork along with the great musicians it advertises. It's somewhat of a black-and-white psychedelic cartoon that definitely took inspiration from the psychedelic concert posters of the 1960s. This piece is 100% original with no restoration and is quite rare to come by!
