Peter Max was one of the most successful commercial artists of the era and popularized the imagery and color schemes that were created by the San Francisco poster artists. This 1967 poster by Max advertised The Visionaries East Hampton Gallery on 22 West 56th St. N.Y.C. from March 21 to April 8. This is the first time it is appearing in our auction!
