We are excited to be offering this rare Frank Zappa and the Mothers of Invention poster for the FIRST time in our auction!This cardboard stand up poster was produced to promote the Mothers of Invention historic residency at the Garrick Theatre in New York’s Greenwich Village in 1967. The poster incorporated the Album Cover art from the Mothers 2nd Album “Absolutely Free” . The shows reportedly were exciting,bizarre,complex and outrageous .The performances were considered Off Broadway theater and musical performance combined . The Mothers residency at the Garrick lasted for six months.100% original with no restoration!
