1972 Allman Brothers Band Manley Field House Poster

Here we have a very rare original Allman Brothers Poster with major eye appeal and striking artwork design. The poster was produced to advertise the band's appearance at the Manley Field House on the campus of Syracuse University in New York on April 7th 1972. The Allman Brothers Band were touring continuously in spring of 1972 following the release of their third album "Eat A Peach". This concert at the Manley Field House featured the late great Dr John & Wet Willie in support and took place just months after the tragic death of Duane Allman. "We'd been through hell but somehow we were rolling bigger than ever " stated Gregg Allman when asked in past interviews about the spring of 1972. Very little material from the early years of the Allman brothers still exists today in ANY condition. We have only seen this issue once before, when another example in lesser condition sold for $3600 two years ago.
