1967 BG-97 Zappa Mothers Winterland Postcard 8

This postcard promoted yet another appearance by the Mothers of Invention at the Fillmore venue. This time they were the headliner. The band was two short months away from the release of We're Only In It For the Money, the band's heavily satirical reflection of the 1960s counterculture. Tim Buckley's January 1968 performance at the famed venue also preserved for history by this popular piece.
